The Palm Springs Aerial Tram, which is also considered as the world's largest rotating tram car, began in 1963 as a means to get from the floor of Coachella Valley towards the top of San Jacinto Peak and was built in Chino Canyon.
While aboard for about 10 minutes, you will see the beautiful and amazing views of the valley floor. And once you get to the Mountain Station that's towering 8,516 feet, there are restaurants, observation decks, natural history museum, documentary theaters and more.
